UsTwo
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using UsTwo ("the App"), operated by UsTwo ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using UsTwo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
UsTwo is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the App you confirm you meet this requirement. Using UsTwo also requires an Apple device signed in to iCloud; your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's terms.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use UsTwo on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, rent, sell, or sublicense the App, or use it unlawfully.
You own the notes, photos, and other content you create in UsTwo ("Your Content"). UsTwo stores Your Content in your own iCloud to provide the service and sync it to your paired partner; we do not claim ownership and (for your private database) cannot access it. You are responsible for Your Content and for sharing it only with a partner who consents. Do not use UsTwo to create or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or that infringes others' rights.
UsTwo connects two people via a couple code. Anything you send is visible to your paired partner. Share your couple code only with the person you intend to pair with. You are responsible for what you choose to share.
UsTwo offers an optional paid tier ("UsTwo Plus") via Apple In-App Purchase, available as a yearly subscription, a weekly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
UsTwo — its design, code, features, and branding — is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant you no ownership in the App.
You may stop using UsTwo at any time by deleting the App and removing its iCloud data. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.
UsTwo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Sync depends on Apple iCloud and your network and device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of UsTwo. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
Your use of UsTwo is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, these Terms govern only as to matters they specifically address. Nothing in these Terms limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, which always apply.
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and post the revised Terms at this URL. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept them.
